How to make the LED display of lamp post withstand high temperature?

At present, as a market segment of LED display, the LED display of lamp post has different application scenarios, and it also puts forward new requirements for the quality of LED display of lamp post. Not to mention intelligence, services and system software, as far as the hardware alone is concerned, the requirements are many different. Brightness exceeding 7000nit, high temperature resistance above 80°C, energy saving, light weight, beautiful appearance, stability, earthquake resistance, etc. are conventional screens. Not very important, but it is a basic requirement that is essential and must be fulfilled for the LED display of the light pole.
  In fact, the light pole LED display is all-metal structure, and the internal space is extremely small, plus it is installed on the side of the road, at noon in the hot summer, especially in the southern region, under the sun, even if there is no electricity, the internal The temperature can easily reach 80℃. And this is a terrible and harsh application environment for electronic products (including CPU main control chip), so effectively controlling the internal temperature of the LED display of the lamp post is a systematic project, and at the same time it is the LED display of the lamp post. The key to stable applications.
  In addition, the light pole LED display is composed of a large number of resistors and capacitors, plastic connectors, cables and power cords. These materials may melt and variate in performance at high temperatures, causing the entire device to become unstable or cause serious failures. Sometimes the physical damage produced is irreparable, so the systematic solution of heat dissipation is an important part of the LED display of the light pole.
  Therefore, in order to ensure the stable operation of the LED display of the light pole, it needs to be solved from three aspects, one is less heat, the other is fast heat dissipation, and the third is the ability to withstand high temperatures above 80°C.
  Among them, less fever is a key, so in order to reduce fever, we need to start from the following aspects:
  1. Use power supply with high conversion efficiency;
  2. Driven by common cathode technology (ie 4.2V);
  3. The power supply must have a surplus of over 30% (working in a linear region);
  4. Adopt 2153 type energy-saving driver IC;
  5. LED chip uses a large chip (that is, 7000nit brightness);
  6. Use high-quality photoresistors to control brightness;
  7. The temperature-controlled fan can adjust the internal temperature at any time;
  8. Realize remote hard power off to allow the device to have a long rest.
  In addition, the heat dissipation problem of the LED display of the light pole is also a key, and it also needs to be started from several aspects:
  1. The air inlet from the bottom of the box should be as large as possible to ensure that there is sufficient air intake, and at the same time, less dust will be brought in;
  2. The air outlet on the top should be large, and install as many fans as possible, so that the temperature of the device can be controlled even if the fan does not work;
  3. The box is made of all-aluminum structure with good thermal conductivity, also for faster heat conduction;
  4. The internal wiring should be horizontal and vertical to ensure that there is no dead angle in the internal cold air circulation.
  The ability to withstand a high temperature of 80°C is also a basic requirement for lamppost LED displays. It also needs to start from several aspects:
  1) The main control card can only use single chip microcomputer, which is simple but stable, and does not need too much memory or too many functions. It can satisfy the use of the LED display of the light pole, and stability is the first.
  2) The resistance and capacitance on the main control card should be military grade and can withstand high temperature. When the ambient temperature is 35 ℃, the internal temperature of the cabinet may be around 70 ℃, the temperature of the main control card may reach 110 ℃, so the main control card must be able to withstand high temperatures above 80 ℃. This is something that many companies do not know. Military-level main control cards are also much more expensive than ordinary control cards. Therefore, many companies usually do not choose them when considering cost issues.
  3) The wire inside the box should also be selected with special materials that can withstand high temperature. Based on this consideration, our Tuosheng Optoelectronics lamp post LED display products have been using rehearsal since the company was established.
  From the above analysis, it can be seen that the light pole LED display has high requirements for high temperature resistance due to its small size and special application scenarios. This is also the key to distinguishing professional pole manufacturers from non-professional manufacturers. Because, only to solve the problem of high temperature resistance, we must find the best solution from all angles, and non-professional manufacturers do not have a deep understanding of this.
  In 2019, a large number of wholesale display manufacturers have also undertaken some light pole LED display projects, many of which are difficult to accept, which seriously leads to returns and litigation. This is because the purchaser has a cheap plan when purchasing, and the supplier has no experience. It also does not pay attention to quality. It is designed and produced as an ordinary light pole LED display, which ultimately leads to the failure of the entire project to be delivered.
